- Include a line or two of the post you are responding to.
- Write easy to read posts by avoiding lengthy blocks of text.
- Categorize or start new threads when the discussion threads become too long.
- Allow students adequate time to read and respond to discussion topics.
- Do not overload students with too much information at one time.

Tips on Responding to Quizzes and Surveys - Provide tips to help students as they work through course exercises by reminding them to:
- “save” their answers inside each quiz before exiting the quiz
- click the “submit” button to send each quiz to the instructor for review and/or grading
