Changes

Key:  Additions   Deletions

Conceptual:
  1. Unit Six addresses three main questions:
    • What have I learned during the E 4 ME course?
    • How can I get assistance from an E-Guide?
    • How can I save money by enrolling at certain schools in Ohio (this feature is called the E-Fee program)?

  2. Students complete an anonymous Course Evaluation. They can also register for an E-Guide, as well as find out about discounts and fee waivers at several of Ohio's colleges and universities.

Informational:

  1. The E-Guide and E-Fee programs are only available to students who complete the course and receive a course completion certificate. The E 4 ME certificate is redeemable only at participating institutions http://www.e4meohio.org/e4_students.php

Relational:
  1. If a student is interested in taking a course or starting a degree or certificate program, be sure that they are also aware that there is a program contact listed with each degree and certificate found at the OhioLearns! web site.

  2. If necessary, students may contact the instructor through an e-mail external to the course once the course is completed (optional).

  3. Students may contact an OLN Regional Coordinator for assistance.

  4. Encourage students to be as honest as possible about the course experience in the course evaluation.

  5. For students who do not finish the course, the instructor may want to send an e-mail to inquire about assistance and assess future intentions. Remember to use e-mail external to the course. Feel free to keep the door open for students to maintain contact, but do not make more than one inquiry.
Example: Instructor's final e-mail internal to the course to those who have completed the course
